"My Everest Base Camp trek was unforgettable, but what truly made it special was One in the Orange Jacket. Through silent sunrises and wind-chilled nights, through shared laughter and quiet moments of exhaustion, we became more than just trekkers."

"Having already trekked Sandakphu and Annapurna Base Camp with Vyshakh (aka OJ), the choice was a no-brainer! OJ made the entire experience hassle-free and memorable. One moment that will stay with me forever was the evening at Kala Pathar."

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Annapurna BC Trek difficult?
+
Difficulty is moderate to moderately hard. You're trekking to 4,130m (13,550 ft), high altitude, but the daily trekking hours are 5–8 hrs with multiple acclimatization days built in. Poon Hill on Day 3 helps your body adjust. If you've done Everest Base Camp or similar, you'll find ABC familiar. No technical climbing required. Fitness level: 3–4/5 stars.
Do I need acclimatization time?
+
Yes. Our itinerary includes: Pokhara (822m) β†’ Day 2 at 1,540m β†’ Day 3 Poon Hill at 3,210m β†’ Day 4 at 2,180m (descent for acclimatization) β†’ Day 5 summit at 4,130m. This pacing is deliberate and proven. Drink tons of water, sleep 8+ hours, and listen to your body. Altitude sickness is possible but rare with proper acclimatization.
What's the best time to trek ABC?
+
October–November and March–May. Nov 15–21 is ideal: post-monsoon clarity, stable weather, comfortable temps (10–20Β°C at base), fewer crowds. December–February can be cold and icy. June–September is monsoon season, wet and slippery. We picked November for a reason.
Do I need a visa? How long?
+
Indian nationals: Free 90-day visa on arrival at KTM airport. Bring your passport. Foreigners: e-Visa available online (www.online.nepalimmigration.gov.np), 15 or 30-day options. We'll send you links and guidance. Budget: β‚Ή1,500–2,500 + processing time (1–3 days online).
What do I pack? Gear rental?
+
Pack light: thermals, hiking boots, rain jacket, sleeping bag liner, headlamp, water bottle, sunscreen, high-altitude socks. Full gear (sleeping bag, tent, stove) is NOT needed, teahouses provide blankets. Gear rental available in Pokhara: β‚Ή200–500/day for jacket, boots, trekking poles, bag. We recommend bringing your own trekking shoes if possible.
Can I do this trek solo?
+
Technically yes, but our group trek is better: guide handles logistics, porter carries your pack, meals are pre-arranged, safety is prioritized, and you meet 6–8 other trekkers. Solo trekking is lonelier and logistically harder. Join us. Meet people. Share stories.
What if I get altitude sickness?
+
We carry oxygen and first-aid. Our guide is trained in AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) detection. If symptoms appear (headache, nausea, fatigue), we slow down, increase hydration, and descend if needed. In 127 trekkers, only 1–2 have experienced severe AMS. Acclimatization, hydration, and pacing prevent 95% of cases.
Group size? Will I know anyone?
+
6–8 trekkers per batch. Mix of first-timers and experienced hikers. Everyone's hiking to ABC, you'll bond quickly on the trail. WhatsApp group before the trek helps you connect. By Day 3, you're friends.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
+
If Plans Change, We've Got You We totally get it, life happens, and sometimes your plans have to take a rain check. That's why we've kept our cancellation policy simple, transparent, and as kind as possible.

β€’ 45+ days before the trip: 10% cancellation charge
β€’ 30–44 days before the trip: 25% cancellation charge
β€’ 15–29 days before the trip: 50% cancellation charge
β€’ Within 14 days of the trip: 100% cancellation charge

These are calculated on the total trip amount, not just the token amount.

Now, if you can find someone to take your spot, we'll happily refund your full amount. No questions asked. Because at the end of the day, we'd rather have someone travel than hold back your money.

To keep your spot confirmed, please clear the remaining balance by the due date, it helps us lock in stays, permits, and experiences for the group. If payments are delayed beyond that, we'll have to treat it as a cancellation (same policy applies).
