A 14-day loop that follows the wild Bura Gandaki gorge, climbs into Nubri country below Mt. Manaslu, and crosses the 5,106 m Larkya La Pass under a sky full of stars. Small group, single batch.
Single batch, paced for acclimatisation with a rest day at SamaGaon before we push for the 5,106 m Larkya La Pass.

We land in the chaotic, colorful, and incense-filled Kathmandu. Head to the hotel, meet the crew, and prep your gear. Tonight, we have our first team dinner in Thamel to fuel up for the mountains.

It’s an 8-9 hour drive today. We leave the city behind for the winding roads of rural Nepal. We settle into our first teahouse at 850m. The adventure officially starts here.

We follow the Bura Gandaki River through Jagat and Dang. Expect suspension bridges, lush forests, and our first glimpse of the high peaks. We cross the 2,600m mark at Namrung, the air is getting crisp.

We trek through Lho and SamaGaon. This is the heart of Nubri culture. You’ll see local monks, ancient mani walls, and the massive Ribung Gompa. The views of Mt. Manaslu from here will make you stop in your tracks.

No moving hotels today. We stay in SamaGaon to let our bodies adjust. If you’re feeling strong, we’ll hike up to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungin Gompa for that "Whoa" moment.

We move to Samdo and then to Dharamsala (4,500m). This is our "High Base." It’s cold, it’s basic, and the excitement for the pass is at an all-time high. Early dinner and early sleep, tomorrow is the big one.

The big day. We start in the dark under a blanket of stars. It’s a steep, slow climb to the top of Larkya La Pass. At 17,100 ft, the views of Himlung Himal and Annapurna II are unmatched. We celebrate at the top and then descend to Bimthang.

We trek down to Dharapani, where we join the Annapurna Circuit trail for a bit. On Day 13, we take a long jeep ride back to Kathmandu. Tonight? Hot showers and a massive Farewell Dinner.
No alarms. Enjoy a slow breakfast in Kathmandu, do some last-minute shopping for singing bowls or tea, and head to the airport. You’re leaving Nepal with 140km of Himalayan dust on your boots and a lot of soul in your heart.

"It was my first solo trip. Took me 10 days to gather courage to book tickets. When I meet everyone, I realised I was worrying about nothing. Everyone was so jolly. All of us instantly clicked as a group and started teasing and making fun of each other. The trip leader Laxman was my friendly nemesis. We even gave nicknames to each other, I was Zodiac and he was assistant to the mayor. I didn't think I would bond with people, but when the trip ended I had at least one small memory to remember each and everyone by. Couldn't have asked for a better group than this for my first trip. Thanks to orange jacket for this wonderful experience."
"I have always counted Vyshakh amongst my dearest friends for the last five years. So when I made up my mind to challenge myself and go on a high altitude trek for the first time, there was no one I trusted more. As a trip leader, Vyshakh is completely dependable, will take care of the minutest details and lead from the front. He thinks on his feet and will motivate you to push harder and discover strengths you never knew existed. Being a high altitude trek, most of us did face minor symptoms of mountain sickness, but Vyshakh personally took care of everyone. All other arrangements like accommodation, food etc were superb. The experience was indeed incredible!"
Note: Nepal visa is not included. Indian passport holders don't need one; other nationals pay visa-on-arrival at KTM airport.
You can carry 150 USD for your personal expenses.
Most people come alone for my trips. About 25% of the people bring a friend or partner. Honestly it really doesn't matter. I have seen on all the batches I have lead. Most people really gel with everyone, even the ones who thought wouldn't gel up, surprise themselves always with the way they got comfortable with everyone.
Usually, most batch sizes are between 12 to 20 people who are aged between 16 to 38. Most people come alone or with a friend. The trip would feel like you are travelling more with college friends than strangers. We tend to do more outdoorsy things than regular trips.
For example: If we find a very pretty waterfall, a beautiful sunset, or a rainbow on the way, we would stop the vehicle right away to catch the beauty of it.
We usually sleep very late on these trips as we play a lot of group games and most people feel they will miss the precious time with the group members and decide to stay awake.
