Itinerary · 7 days
Seven days is the standard Bali rhythm for Indians. The arc: 2 days Ubud (culture and rice terraces), 2 days Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan (day trips for the iconic beach hopping), 3 days Seminyak or Canggu (beach club and surf). Anything shorter feels rushed across the island; anything longer slips into the laid-back rhythm and you stop sightseeing.
Arrive Denpasar plus van transfer to Ubud (90 min). Check in to boutique villa with rice terrace view.
Light walk through Ubud Monkey Forest, careful with phones plus glasses.
Dinner at Locavore or Ulun Ubud restaurant. Early sleep to fight jet lag.
Tegalalang rice terraces sunrise plus breakfast at Sari Organik. Skip the swing photo trap.
Tirta Empul holy water temple plus optional Balinese cooking class.
Kecak fire dance at Uluwatu (90 min drive) or quieter dinner in Ubud.
Drive to Sanur port plus speedboat to Nusa Lembongan (30 min).
Mangrove forest tour plus Dream Beach swim plus Devil's Tear cliffs.
Sunset at the Beach Club or quieter Mushroom Bay.
Speedboat to Nusa Penida (30 min). Kelingking Beach viewpoint plus Broken Beach.
Angel's Billabong natural infinity pool plus Crystal Bay snorkel.
Speedboat back to Nusa Lembongan or transfer to Seminyak. Beach club sunset.
Surf lesson at Echo Beach or beach time at Petitenget.
Spa day at Bali Botanica or shopping in Seminyak.
Dinner at Sangsaka or Merah Putih plus drinks at Single Fin.
Uluwatu Temple plus Padang Padang Beach sunrise.
Lunch at Single Fin Uluwatu plus drive to Canggu for cafes.
Sunset at La Brisa or Echo Beach plus dinner at Mason Canggu.
Final breakfast at The Slow or Crate Cafe Canggu.
Transfer to Denpasar Airport plus departure.
In flight.
Mid-range solo traveller estimate. Couples sharing rooms save around 25% per person. Luxury upgrades add 50% to 100%.

Possible but rushed. 5 days lets you do Ubud plus Seminyak with no Nusa islands. 6 days lets you add one Nusa day. 7 is the minimum to do Bali justice. Below 5 days the flight time eats the trip.
Stay in Bali for first-time trips. Gili Islands are a separate experience needing 3 plus days; adding them to a 7-day Bali trip means doing both poorly. Save Gili for a future Bali plus Lombok trip.
The breakdown above totals around INR 1,55,000 for a solo traveller mid-range. As a couple sharing villas, the per-person cost drops to about INR 1,20,000. Luxury upgrades (Mandapa, Hanging Gardens) push it to INR 2,50,000 plus.
Cost is similar (group rate savings pass to participants). What you get with OJ: visa processing, pre-vetted villas, no-scooter safety policy, group of 12 Indian travellers, vetted restaurants. What you give up: solo control over day-by-day.
Yes. Dry season at peak (low humidity, calm seas for Nusa speedboats), shoulder pricing before August peak, ideal for surf plus beach combo. The OJ Bali trip runs July specifically for this window.
