Greece for Indians has a paradox: July and August are when everyone wants to go (school holidays, Indian wedding-season travel) but those are the worst months. Brutal heat, peak crowds, peak prices. The actual sweet spot is May, June, September. Same Aegean blue, less than half the crowds, 30 percent cheaper. Most Indian travellers regret booking in August.

June or September. Both have ideal temperatures (22 to 28C), warm seas, low crowds compared to July to August, and 30 percent cheaper than peak. June has slightly more energy as the season opens. September has slightly fewer Indian holiday crowds because school is back in session. Both are excellent.
Yes. August combines peak European holiday season (every Mediterranean tourist is in Greece), peak Indian wedding-season travel, brutal 30 plus C heat, and 30 to 50 percent price premiums. Many Greek locals actually leave Athens in August. The islands are crowded, beaches are full, and ferry queues are long. Avoid August unless you have a specific reason.
Santorini for first-timers. The caldera views and Oia sunsets are the iconic Greek photo experience. Mykonos is more party-oriented and feels overwrought after the third Instagram-worthy alley. If you have only 4 island days, do Santorini plus one smaller island like Naxos or Milos. Save Mykonos for a future trip if it appeals.
Minimum 8 days to cover Athens plus one island. 10 days to cover Athens plus 2 islands properly. 14 days for Athens plus 3 islands with breathing room. Below 8 days the flights eat your trip. The OJ Greece trip is 10 days covering Athens, Santorini, and one of Mykonos or Naxos depending on group preference.
The OJ Greece trip runs in June. 10 days covering Athens (Acropolis, Plaka), Santorini (Oia, caldera, wine country), and one second island.
