Frequently asked

Can I do Spain in less than 7 days?

Possible but not recommended. 5 days lets you do Madrid plus Valencia for La Tomatina, no Toledo. 4 days is Madrid only or Valencia only. Below 4 days the flight time is more than the trip. For first-timers we recommend 7 to 10 days minimum.

Should I add Barcelona to a 7-day Spain trip?

Probably not. Barcelona deserves 3 days on its own. Adding it to a 7-day Madrid plus Valencia trip means you do all three poorly. Better to plan a 10-day trip that does Barcelona properly, or save Barcelona for a separate Spain visit.

What is the actual total cost of this 7-day Spain trip from India?

The breakdown above totals around INR 2,50,000 for a solo traveller mid-range. As a couple sharing rooms, the per-person cost drops to about INR 1,90,000. Luxury upgrades (5-star hotels, business class flights) push it to INR 4,00,000 plus.

How does the OJ Spain trip compare to doing this solo?

Cost is similar (we pass on the group rate savings to participants). What you get with OJ: visa paperwork handled end-to-end, all logistics pre-booked, trip leader, La Tomatina buddy system, group of 12 to 14 Indian travellers, vetted hotels, group transfers. What you give up: solo control over the day-by-day plan.

When is the absolute best week of August to visit Spain?

The last week of August, specifically the days around La Tomatina (last Wednesday of August). The weather is still hot but festival energy peaks. The week before is also good and slightly less crowded. Avoid first half of August when locals leave Madrid and many shops close.
