DAY 01 : FLY INTO KATHMANDU ( KTM )

Nepal backpacking nepal backpacking

We will freshen up and visit monkey temple for the sunset.

The architecture here and the sunset from the top will make it a perfect evening to start our trip.

By evening, we walk around Thamel Market and absorb the vibe of trekkers, climbers and regular tourists in the market while having food at amazing restaurants around.

DAY 02 : THE ADVENTURE BEGINS TODAY

Nepal backpacking nepal backpacking

Wohooo ! We will head out for the bungee jumping today. It takes 3 hours one side, so we start around 6am from Kathmandu.

We will have lunch at the resort and come back to Thamel by 7 in the evening. Let me know if you are interested and I will book the slot for you.

Pre-booking is mandatory. People who are not doing Bunjee have to stay back in Kathmandu hotel as the vehicle will only pickup the registered participants . My suggestion : Jump, Go for it.

DAY 03 : NAGARKOT & MOVE TOWARDS CHITWAN

Nepal backpacking nepal backpacking

Today I will take you to one of the best accessible views of the Everest sunrise in Nepal: Nagarkot.

Imagine the view of the mighty Everest right in front of you while you sip on some nice hot chai!!

Post breakfast, we head to Chitwan. It will take us a good 6-7 hours so make sure you have packed some snacks.

By evening, we check into our nice resort which is right amidst the national park, sit on those nice armchairs and get to know each other!

Today we head out for a jungle safari..!! Yaaayyy!!

The Chitwan National Park is home to more than 500 Asian one-horned rhinos and some 100 Bengal tigers.

Leopards, crocodiles, deer, and elephants are also been sighted here before. A lot of people do safaris on an elephant here; but we ain’t going to do it this way and promote cruelty.

we will take jeep safaris instead!!

DAY 05 : HEAD TO POKHARA. BOATING IN PHEWA LAKE

Nepal backpacking nepal backpacking

Today we will head to Pokhara, the most scenic town in our trip. We will take a stroll along the sides of Phewa lake.

This is a shopper's paradise : stroll through the amazing displays of colour from the fabrics and handmade items.

The prices are excellent and you can find everything from shawls to gemstones to musical instrument shop with Nepali instruments for the music lovers.

By 3ish, We will take a boat , cross the phew lake and go for a hike to the Peace Pagoda. You will see the whole Annapurna range .

The World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara Nepal is painted a brilliant white & sits atop a hill overlooking the Annapurna mountain range which reflects off Lake Phewa.

It takes about 20 minutes to reach the bottom of the hill and about 40 mins to hike up .

We will sit here and take in the breathtaking view before we head down and take the boat back. Some of the best photos of Pokhara is taken from here.

DAY 06 : RAFTING AND PARAGLIDING

Nepal backpacking nepal backpacking

Today after we have a sumptuous meal beside the Phewa lake, we start your day by rafting down the Upper set river.

This is going to be one hell of a ride, you don’t need to know swimming for it . We will be back by 1 in the afternoon and after lunch we will move out to Mahindra cave , a large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system.

People who wants to opt for paragliding can do that as well instead of the cave visit. The last slot for paragliding is on 2pm and you can even visit the cave after the Flight.

I AM COMING SOLO. IS THAT A PROBLEM ?

Most people come alone for my trips. About 25% of the people bring a friend or partner.Honestly It really doesn't matter. I have seen on all the batches I have lead. Most people really gel with everyone, even the ones who thought wouldn't gel up, surprise themselves always with the way they got comfortable with everyone.

YOUR ITINERARY LOOKS DIFFICULT FOR ME. CAN I DO IT ?

Each trek/ trip is rated according to the number of days we spend outdoors . If you aren't sure where to start, go with an easy trip or trek.

For trips,
I dreamed of trips where we could go out hike , get exhausted , come back to hotel and have a great evening. This is exactly why some of my trips have Day hikes in it. It is a perfect chance for people who have never hiked in their entire life. Don't worry, We are there :).

For treks,
You can start with Sandhakphu or Chandrashila . You can also benchmark yourself for the treks.
1. If you can run for 30 mins and cover around 3-3.5 km , then you can go ahead with an easy trek
2. If you can run for 30 mins and cover around 3.5-4 km , then you can go ahead with an moderate trek
3. If you can run for 30 mins and cover around 4-5 km , then you can go ahead with an difficult trek

If you have never done a high altitude trek, then start with a easy or Easy- moderate trek. That way you will understand how your body reacts to high altitude and you can check you cardio strength too.

WHAT ARE TRIPS LIKE ?

Usually, most batch sizes are between 12-20 people who are aged between 16-38. Most people come alone or with a friend. The trip would feel like you are travelling more with college friends than strangers. We tend to do more outdoorsy things than regular trips .

For example : If we find a very pretty waterfall/ a beautiful sunset / Rainbow on the way. We would stop the vehicle right away to catch the beauty of it.

We usually sleep very late on these trips as we play a lot of group games and most people feel they will miss the precious time with the group members and decides to stay awake.
