BRIEF ITINERARY :
Welcome to the most non-boring China group trip you've ever imagined. We’re not just sightseeing — we’re time-traveling, food-devouring, stair-climbing, noodle-slurping chaos wrapped in one epic itinerary. Strap in.
We land in Beijing and head straight to our hotel. Today’s all about settling in and soaking up first impressions. In the evening, we head to Wangfujing Street — a shopping and street food paradise that's been a hub for centuries. It’s got neon, noodles, and some freaky skewers (don’t worry, bugs are optional). This is your “China’s real” moment.

If you are feeling adventurous , lets try the spicy hot pot
We wake up and channel our inner monk with a Tai Chi session at the Temple of Heaven — where emperors prayed for good harvests since the 1400s. This UNESCO site’s design is based on cosmic harmony and ancient Feng Shui principles.

Next up: Beijing’s hutongs, the old-school alleyways where dynasties whispered . We join a local family for a dumpling-making class — messy, delicious, competitive.

Later, lets try the Peking Duck in a restaurant. It was Invented in the imperial kitchens of the Ming Dynasty, this dish is both crispy and legendary.

Today ,We are going to visit great wall of china ! Built during the Ming Dynasty, this section is steep, scenic, and slightly less touristy than other parts of Great wall. We cable car up, yell "whoa" at the views, then take a giant slide on our way back.
After lunch, we explore the 798 Art District in the evening — a former military factory zone turned into China’s most influential contemporary art hub with over 250 galleries, offbeat cafes, and great place to hang out as an outsider.
We will also see the remnants of a special railway extension that was used to transport factory building materials from East Germany via Russia to Beijing. The fascinating disused train tracks, station and carriages still remain in their original position today from 1950s. ( That's 75 years ago ).

And yes, we have blocked a bit of shopping time — for cool finds, weird T-shirts, and indie gifts. Dinner at Sanlitun

Fenghuang Ancient Town is a well-preserved historic town in western Hunan Province, built over 300 years ago during the Qing dynasty.
It is known for its traditional wooden stilt houses (Diaojiaolou) constructed along the Tuojiang River, connected by stone pathways and arched bridges.
The town has been home to multiple ethnic groups, mainly Miao and Tujia, and their influence is visible in local architecture, handicrafts, silver jewellery, and food.
Most of the old town is pedestrian-only, making it ideal for slow exploration.

We head out to the Furong Ancient Town, originally built by the Tujia people. Set dramatically over a waterfall and full of stilted wooden homes, it was made famous by the 1980s film Hibiscus Town. We will be seeing this in the morning.
We wander cobbled lanes, sip tea by a cliff, and feel like extras in a Chinese period drama. It’s laid-back and photogenic. You’ll love it.
Tea plucking and roasting

Today is some high-altitude drama. We ride the longest cable car in the world up Tianmen Mountain. This place is sacred, dramatic, and drop-dead gorgeous. The glass skywalk clings to cliffs like an action movie scene, and Heaven’s Gate — a giant natural rock arch — is one of China's most iconic sights.
This is the kind of place where you whisper "whoa" without trying to be ironic.
Dinner back in Zhangjiajie with a hot meal and cold drinks.

Optional Ziplining and cliff walk
We go full wilderness mode in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, China’s first national forest park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We ride the Bailong Elevator (world’s tallest outdoor lift), and hike Yuanjiajie, the area that inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar. Then it's up Tianzi Mountain, named after a Tujia tribal leader, for crazy vistas.
Finish it off with a peaceful walk (or stagger) down Golden Whip Stream.

Today we head to our last city : Shanghai— from ancient waterfalls to ultra-modern Shanghai. We check in and take power nap.
We will also visit Bund today.
This riverside strip is where colonial architecture meets futuristic skyline. It’s history and ambition facing off — and it’s stunning.

We kick off at Yu Garden, a 16th-century garden built during the Ming Dynasty. It’s a maze of ponds, bridges, and pavilions that once belonged to a wealthy government official.
Then comes our French Concession walk . This area used to be leased to France in the 1800s and has kept its leafy lanes and European charm.
In the afternoon, we flip the switch: a Walk through People’s Square and you can explore China’s AI vending, smart retail, drone delivery and the cashless economy in full swing.
Evening? Hit Nanjing Road : one of the world’s busiest shopping streets — for free time, snacks, or that gadget you’ll never use.

Start with Shanghai Zoo, home to China’s cutest global ambassadors — the giant pandas. They're sleepy, slow, and still better at posing than us.
Then we slide over to Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient canal town with 1,700 years of history. Think stone bridges, wooden boats, and riverside dumpling joints. Venice? Kind of. But more soy sauce.
Back to the city for final shopping and one last group dinner to seal the memories.

No alarms today — we sleep in a bit, slow down, and soak up the last bits of Shanghai. Some of us will be packing chaos into suitcases, others doing that one final dash for snacks or souvenirs. We’ll hug, laugh, share drop locations, and promise to meet again on another mountain, beach, or noodle trail.
From Great Wall climbs to a leap into future cities — we came, we saw, we slurped.
Now it’s time to head home… a little tired, a lot inspired.
See you on the next one.

Most people come alone for my trips. About 25% of the people bring a friend or partner.Honestly It really doesn't matter. I have seen on all the batches I have lead. Most people really gel with everyone, even the ones who thought wouldn't gel up, surprise themselves always with the way they got comfortable with everyone.
Each trek/ trip is rated according to the number of days we spend outdoors . If you aren't sure where to start, go with an easy trip or trek.
For trips,
I dreamed of trips where we could go out hike , get exhausted , come back to hotel and have a great evening. This is exactly why some of my trips have Day hikes in it. It is a perfect chance for people who have never hiked in their entire life. Don't worry, We are there :).
For treks,
you can start with Sandhakphu or Chandrashila . You can also benchmark yourself for the treks.
If you have never done a high altitude trek, then start with a easy or Easy- moderate trek. That way you will understand how your body reacts to high altitude and you can check you cardio strength too.
Usually, most batch sizes are between 12-20 people who are aged between 16-38. Most people come alone or with a friend. The trip would feel like you are travelling more with college friends than strangers. We tend to do more outdoorsy things than regular trips .
For example : If we find a very pretty waterfall/ a beautiful sunset / Rainbow on the way. We would stop the vehicle right away to catch the beauty of it.
We usually sleep very late on these trips as we play a lot of group games and most people feel they will miss the precious time with the group members and decides to stay awake.
